Who We Are and What We Do!

The Strughold Mining Co. (SMC) is a nonprofit, specialty archive set up by X-Files fans, for X-Files fans. We preserve, and make accessible, fanfic, fanart, fan created music videos, and all other fanworks.

Any story or fanwork that an author/creator has given Strughold Mining Co. permission to archive (either directly or through a general permission for everyone) will be archived here. In other words, we are a fanworks, and fan culture, time capsule for all of us X-Files fans!

SMC endeavours to preserve the record of fanfics, fanart, fan created music videos, and all other fanworks as we encourage new and non-mainstream expressions of fandom.

So write and create your X-Files fanworks - they will be safely housed here!

Authors and artists retain the copyright to their works. By submitting fanworks to this archive, authors and artists are granting Strughold Mining Co. the non-exclusive right to display their works. Authors and artists may revise or delete their works at any time.
